The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TGPRB) has officially issued the notification for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (Driver) in Police Transport Organisation (PTO) and SCT Police Constable (Mechanic) (PTO) across Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria & Technical Requirements
1. Educational & Technical Qualifications
- PC Driver: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent + valid Driving License (HMV / LMV with appropriate badge endorsements as prescribed).
- PC Mechanic: SSC (10th) or equivalent + ITI Certificate in Motor Transport Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic trade.
2. Age Limit (as on 01-07-2026)
18 to 22 years for Open categories (with driver-specific relaxations where applicable). Upper age relaxation of 5 years applies to SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates.
3. Physical Standards & Events
- Height (Men): 162 cm (160 cm for Agency ST)
- 1600 Meters Run: Qualifying running event for physical efficiency.
- Driving / Trade Test: Practical driving track assessment for Drivers and practical workshop skill test for Mechanics.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Written Test (PWT): Objective test covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, and Technical Trade syllabus.
- Physical Measurement (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Driving / Trade Practical Test: Practical skills verification.
- Final Written Examination (FWE).
- Certificate Verification & Medical Assessment.

- OC & BC Candidates: ₹1,200 per application
- SC & ST Candidates (Local to Telangana): ₹600 per application
